Yoga for Healthy Aging at Shanti Home
Yoga Seniors & 50+: this deeply relaxing, morning yoga class is slow & quite accessible to everyone. Newcomers are welcome at anytime & will easily be able to follow the class. And you can be any age to join the class, although it is deliberately led at a slower pace & we do less challenging Yin yoga poses.
The benefits for seniors of practicing Yin yoga:
- keeps your joints lubricated & easy to move
- improves circulation by opening up blocked areas of the body
The class is based on Yin yoga; you don’t need to be flexible or have prior yoga experience.
